Patrick O’Leary

Both editor and director, Olivia was one of Picture North’s first senior editors and helped build Picture North’s initial post-production operations. She comes from a background of line producing and one-woman-band shooting, having had a hand in nearly every filmmaking role. Most mornings, you can find her training for her upcoming fights as a professional boxer. With such a deep involvement in sports, Olivia is most interested in telling authentic stories about how humans relate to their bodies.

Biography

Patrick O’Leary

Patrick grew up in Montana with a camera, and a crew of friends, filming nonsense just to make themselves laugh. Building computers from used parts and pirating some editing software focused that creativity into a calling, setting him on track for film school at Montana State University and ultimately Los Angeles. He quickly found comedy again as a freelance commercial editor and has built a career working with incredible talent and brands for over 10 years.

Outside the edit, Patrick and his wife enjoy finding time to take their dog to the mountains for some skiing and to remind him of home. Love travel and always planning a return trip to Ireland to share a pint with distant relatives. Otherwise homebodies and eager hosts of friends and family, still tinkering in the guts of a computer (or three) and always looking for a laugh.
